Brigitte obtained a bachelor's degree at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques (Montreal) in 2014, with the title of DO. She completed her master's degree in 2016. Previously, she had accumulated experience in massage therapy since 1999. She has been practicing osteopathy since 2014 and founded Corps en Main OSTÉOPATHIE in 2017.
Following some academic research in osteopathy, Brigitte developed a specific interest in the countering of possible adverse impact of postoperative scars and peritoneal adhesion. She is eager to provide preventive care to people who have undergone operations of any kind. Her intention is to avoid unnecessary physical suffering that occurs sooner or later after surgery.
In addition, she is sensitive to the physical tensions that sometimes take root in suppressed emotions. To support clients through physical and conscious releasing of these tensions, she undertook, in 2016, a 3-year professional training in Counselling at CRAM.
Brigitte has been a therapist for almost 20 years. She is noted for her know-how and her empathy, which make her a qualified professional that helps improve well-being in the people she meets.
Brigitte is a member of the RITMA Association. Her receipts are accepted by all health insurance companies.
